Lia Tomkins
Trainee Trainer Staffordshire

Lia joined our team in 2025 as a trainee trainer and is already proving to be a fantastic addition. She lives and trains alongside our Advanced Senior Trainer, Bekki, meaning she benefits from daily senior trainer support and guidance while developing her own skills.

Lia is committed to a modern, positive training approach, using science-based, reward-focused methods to bring out the best in every dog she works with.

With a background as a professional horse trainer since 2002, and experience in dog training and dog walking since 2009, Lia has worked with a wide variety of breeds, temperaments, and training challenges.

She lives in a home with land, surrounded by dogs, horses, cats, and children – the perfect environment for exposing dogs to different sights, sounds, and experiences. Being close to town, garden centres, woodlands, parks, and farms also allows her to train dogs in diverse real-world settings.
