Jenny founded Adolescent Dogs in 2006 and is one of the Company Directors. Over the past two decades, she has helped train more than 15,000 dogs and their owners, becoming a trusted name in professional, ethical, and results-driven dog training.

Today, Jenny works as the Head Trainer, offering a highly exclusive residential training experience for a limited number of clients each year.

She specialises in assistance dog training, working with owner-trained assistance dog teams from puppyhood through to fully trained, public-access ready dogs. Her focus is on developing calm, reliable, and highly responsive dogs that can confidently work in real-world environments—from busy towns to complex public settings. This includes advanced obedience, neutrality around distractions, and task-based training tailored to each individual’s needs.

Jenny & Mike's residential training is designed as a premium, luxury service for owners seeking exceptional results.

To maintain the highest standards, Jenny & Mike work with just one to two dogs at a time, ensuring each dog receives an unrivalled level of attention, consistency, and care. Every programme is tailored to the individual dog, allowing for faster progress, deeper understanding, and long-lasting results.

Based in rural Ewhurst, Jenny & Mike's home offers over an acre of private land, with direct access to extensive polo fields. Combined with close proximity to both a busy town and the Surrey Hills, she is able to carefully select training environments that best support each dog’s development.

Living & Working with Dogs

Jenny lives and works alongside a multi-dog household, actively training and developing her own dogs in scentwork, trick training, and competitive obedience. This hands-on, daily experience ensures her methods remain practical, current, and results-focused. Jenny & Mike own 8 dogs including 4 hairless Xolo's, 2 Chinese Crested, a Border Collie and a Cocker Spaniel.
