Weekly Puppy & Adult Dog Class

Puppy Class 

6 week course 

Starts 20th February

at 11.30am to 12.30pm 

at Merrist Wood College, Guildford

• Run by Head Trainer Mike Newland
• Maximum 9 dogs per class (2 class trainers)
• Friendly classes using positive training methods
• Suitable for dogs of all ages
• Not suitable for reactive dogs, or dogs who will be disruptive barking throughout
• Includes free access to our Online Foundation Skills Course

This puppy course will give your new puppy the best start to their training and social skills

We'll cover:

• Response to name
• Basic cues - Sit, Down and Wait
• Play skills
• Middle - the portable safe place
• Leave it - teaching your puppy not to steal
• Drop - teaching your puppy to drop stolen items or toys
• Send to bed
• Settle on cue
• Doorway  manners
• Greeting without jumping up
• Come when called
• Walking to heel without pulling or biting the lead
• Confidence building
• Talks on neutering, play biting, toilet training, barking

Price is £149 for 6 weeks and the classes are run by Head Trainer Mike Newland
