Puppy Social Skills Workshop with Mike Newland

Saturday 5th December 9.30am to 10:30am at Merrist Wood College Guildford

Perfect for all puppies between 12 weeks and 5 months of age.

Do you want to ensure you get your puppies social skills off to the best start? And to feel confident you're doing everything right to avoid bad habits developing as your puppy grows?

This isn't a Puppy Bundle Party where your pup is going to race around for an hour playing with other puppies (where puppies become bullies or victims and poor social skills are learnt)

In this 1 hour workshop, we cover

🐾HOW to socialise your puppy with dogs (teaching your pup to be comfortable in the presence of other dogs, and how to engage/disengage with good manners)

🐾HOW to socialise with people (the importance of consent)

🐾HOW to read your pups body language, so you know when to intervene

🐾HOW to include the other 90% of socialisation, including building your pups confidence with novelty, noises, handling, walking on different surfaces etc.

🐾HOW to build calm with greetings so your pup doesn't jump or bite
