Are you constantly being stopped by strangers on the street telling you what a wonderful dog you have - and then scolding him for jumping up on them? Does your pup greet every other dog with kisses and hugs like an overeager toddler? If this sounds familiar, it might be time for our Friendly Dog Social Skills workshop.
Let our expert trainers help unleash your pup’s inner celebrity so that he can still be charming but within bounds. Give your buddy a chance to learn how to say “Hi” without getting all up in someone’s face.
We'll cover
- Manners greeting dogs on and off lead
- Manners greeting people without jumping
- Recall away from dogs/people
- Lead walking skills around distractions
- Disengagement skills to move away on cue
- Learn how to read your dog's body language
- Learn about consent
Maximum 8 dogs per course.
Not suitable for dogs with reactivity issues (barking due to fear, or dogs with a bite history). Join our Nosework Workshop to improve reactivity issues.
