5 star reviews for Rebecca

“A great start for a puppy! ” Written on: 21/07/2018 by JoandTim8

We booked our Sprocker Spaniel, Bella, with Rebecca for 5 weeks to follow the socialisation and basic training programme. Bella was only 9 weeks old when we handed her over. Before we met,The trainer put us at ease by informing us of everything we needed to do before the handover including, food, vets, supplies etc. We felt really organised and made the whole process stress free. Rebecca made a great first impression, immediately accepting Bella as part of her family. We could tell she was going to be well looked after. Throughout the process, the trainer kept us fully informed of Bella’s progress and frequently updated us with plenty of pictures of her training and having fun. She got up extra early to accommodate Bella’s needs during the heat wave and trained her in the cooler parts of the day. When we arrived for our handover session, she made us feel relaxed and was very patient with teaching us how to perform the commands and what to look out for. Throughout the process, the trainer answered all our questions and provided links to internet sites or you tube when required. We took Bella home and practiced everything we were taught and if we got confused, she was still available and willingly helped us out. I would highly recommend for anyone with a puppy to book through Adolescent Dogs and especially Rebecca to help them on the way to a happy, obedient and loving dog. Thank you so much to her. You’ve been amazing and we are really pleased with the progress Bella made with you. Couldn’t have done it without you.

Our 8 week old cockapoo Ernie went to stay with a trainer for a 6 week stay. We had already booked a couple of trips abroad and agreed a collection date with the breeder, but at the last minute the breeder said we had to collect the puppy much earlier, or give him up. Giving him up was not an option! This was when we got in touch with AD. All we wanted at the outset was for him to be in a loving caring home in the interim period before we could collect him (as those early weeks are such a key time in a puppy's life) but we got more than we could ever hope for. The trainer taught our little pup the entire obedience syllabus - sit, wait, down, leave it, walking on the lead and SO MUCH MORE....I cannot put in to words what a gorgeous, well trained puppy we picked up. He has a wonderful temperament, is fully socialised and great with other animals and people. We constantly receive comments on how well trained he is for a such a young pup from friends, family and people we bump into when on walks. He's fully crate trained and sleeps without any issues. We have had a couple of handover sessions with the trainer since we picked up our puppy, and they help ensure that we have the tools and knowledge to maintain the great training he has been given.

The trainer very obviously adores dogs and it's clear that she does not see this a a job - she genuinely is passionate about it and that really translates in to the quality of training. She kept us regularly informed with pics and updates which meant we could follow our pup's journey even though we were not with him.
