Isobel Buchanan, FdSc

Under Assessment as a Junior Instructor. Bridport, Dorset

Isobel is joining our team in June under assessment as a Junior level trainer and is about to complete her  BSc Hons in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. She owns her own dog, a 10 year old Border Collie.

Before moving to Plymouth University to complete her studies., Isobel was running her own part time business in training dogs, which involved both puppy classes, and one to ones. She has also assisted on camps targeted at agility dogs and reactive dogs for the past three years and has done residential training for numerous cocker spaniels entering the dog agility circuits, training them running contacts, weaving, handling skills, but also key life skills (depending on both their age and individual needs).

Isobel is local to beaches, and there are livestock in the area throughout the year in various walking spots (what is there is variable, but there is usually always something) and local to a busy market (twice weekly) as well as more rural quiet places and riverside walks.
