“Brilliant !” Written on: 29/04/2018 by GRyan

"I am so glad that I sent my dog to Adolescent Dogs for training. I have an Italian Greyhound which are known for being difficult to train so I was jubious as to how much they would be able to teach him. Despite my reservations they did an amazing job and I would thoroughly recommend them.
Communication between myself and the company was both frequent and very informative. This includes contact before the training, during and after. It always difficult spending time away from your beloved pet but texts, e-mails and images makes it a lot easier and allows you to see that they are happy. Seeing pictures of your dog pop up on Facebook is a lovely addition and makes you feel like you are a part of the adolescent team.
My biggest worry was that once back at home my dog would go back to how he was befor but due to the brilliant hand-over sessions and training of the owner I felt confident to carry on the training at home. Of course we still have hiccups but the trainer is always a phone call, text or e-mail away so problems can quickly be resolved.
Although quite a costly option of dog training I would thoroughly recommend adolescent dogs

“Excellent residential training ” Written on: 26/03/2018 by TonbridgePaula

We wanted a caring but disciplined home-from-home for our Toller puppy whilst we were away on a 3-week long-haul holiday. We particularly wanted him to get used to being around young children as our first grandchild will shortly be joining the family. We therefore chose an Adolescent Dogs’ trainer with her own young child. The trainer was warm and engaging with us and our puppy and we felt confident leaving our much-loved puppy in her care. She was keen to understand our priorities for his 3-week residential stay and kept us updated on his progress, regularly emailing photos and sending us weekly reports. We found the 2-hour handover training session helpful but somewhat tiring after a long flight home. However, the clear and well-written training manual we were given has proved to be a useful reminder of commands, hand signals etc. We have also been sent a video of the trainer with our puppy so we can check that we are being consistent with what she did. Our puppy loves training and is doing well now he’s home. He’s much calmer around visitors, including children, and we’re very pleased with what our Adokescent Dogs’ trainer managed to achieve with him.
