Lead Pulling Workshop

1. "My dog pulls on the the lead constantly. Every walk is a struggle"

2. "My dog walks nicely on the lead, but he pulls when he see's another dog or a person."

If any of the above statements are true for you, you are not alone! Lead pulling is one of the biggest complained about problems amongst dog owners and is very much solveable.

Our Lead Pulling Workshop is designed to put you back in control and show you easy and effective ways to teach your dog to walk nicely on the lead, even with distractions!

It doesn't matter how big or small your dog is, we can help find a method that works for you.

The Lead Pulling Workshop is ideal if your dog:
  • Pulls on the lead
  • Pulls towards people or children.
  • Pulls towards other dogs
  • Gets over excited on a walk
  • Jumps up on you out of excitement
  • Bites the lead or your clothes
  • Is difficult to control when out.
  • Pulls you dangerously down flights of stairs or into traffic.

At Adolescent Dogs we understand that every dog and owner are individuals and will work best with different methods. Therefore, we adopt a variety of techniques to teach your dog that walking nicely on the lead is most rewarding. We do this without the use of head collars or harnesses and we don’t use food or toys.

The Workshop consists of a one hour private lesson and 2 x 1 hour group lessons. Please bear in mind that it may have taken years for some dogs to become such expert pullers, it will take time to train them out of this behaviour. As with all dog training, we are training you to train the dog.
