My dog is naughty, what can I do?
Private sessions are run by our head instructor Jenny Trigg who is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). The APDT offer pet dog owners a guarantee of quality when looking for a puppy and dog training class in their area.
Every dog and owner will at some time need input with their dogs training. It's likely that you are looking into Private Tuition because your lifestyle doesn't allow you to attend classes or because the problems you are having with your dog are happening at home or out on a walk.
Individual tuition is provided in your home or outdoor area and at a time that suits you. Private Sessions are designed to fit around your lifestyle and can be booked as early as 8am or as late as 9pm, 7 days a week.
Each session or course is tailor made exclusively to each dog and owner based on the individual dog's personality and what you want from your dog. So you can choose to learn from the club syllabus or work on more specific areas that need training.
Some dogs and owners just need guidance with their dogs training, whilst others are having more serious problems that take a little more time to solve.

When's the best time to start training?
If you're having any of the above problems with your dog, please don't think the problem will improve with time. In fact, it is more likely that they will get worse. The earlier you address problems with your dog, the easier it will be to resolve. We recommend you begin training with your dog as soon as you get him home. We start puppies as early as 8 weeks (at this age they are like sponges and will pick up the training very quickly). It is far better to start the training early, rather than wait for your dog to pick up bad habits as these take much longer to fix later. It is never too late to train your dog, whether your dog is 8 weeks, 8 months, or 8 years, private tuition can help you.
