Save £30 by booking 3 one to one sessions in advance.
One to one sessions are ideal for dogs and owners who can't get to a training class or feel they need help in a specific area.
Providing individual tuition in your home at a time that suits you. We only use positive training techniques and teach you how to be a role model for your dogs behaviour. We give your dog plenty of positive feedback in the early stages of training and teach you how to use praise, play and occassionaly food as rewards effectively.
Each course is tailor made exclusively to each dog and handler based on the individual dog's personality and what you want from your dog.
We train in your home because this is where your dog will misbehave most often, so this is where the training will be most effective. For problems outside of the home such as lead pulling and coming when called, we will set up controlled exercises in a safe outdoor area.
Private tuition is affordable and easily fitted into your own lifestyle. In comparison to classes, you can cover the same 6 week course material in just 3 weeks of home visit training at just £20 extra. (£90 for 3 sessions instead of £70 for 6 group sessions). If you feel you still don't have the time to put into your dogs training, we offer residential courses to suit. Your dog doesn't need to go into kennels and the course carries a lifetime guarantee for you and your companion.
Whens the best time to start training?
At Adolescent Dogs, we recommend you begin training with your dog as soon as possible. We start your puppy as early as 8 weeks old, at this age they are like sponges and will pick up the training very quickly. The first few weeks of one to one training is conducted indoors, so theres no need to worry about going outside without vaccinations. At this age, it will mean that by the time we begin outdoor training with your puppy, he will already of had his vaccinations.
It is ideal to begin your dogs training as soon as possible to prevent any bad habits forming. We take dogs right up to old age, its never too late to train your dog.

Training problems include:
Pulling on the lead Not coming back when called Basic training (sit, down, stay, leave, drop, retrieve) Advanced training (emergency stop, distance control, impulse trainng, send to bed, distraction training etc) Jumping up at visitors Escaping from front door Inappropriate Toileting Play Biting Over excitability
All training problems will be charged at the normal rate as specified below for your area. If your dog is having minor behavioural problems, these must be dealt with seperately.
Minor behaviour problems will be charged at a one off fee of £150. This is in addition to any obedience training that is required.
Minor behaviour problems include:
Barking
Destructive behaviour
Seperation related problems
Stealing
Chasing cars, bicycles, joggers, livestock etc
Fears & Phobias
Repetitive Behaviour (tail chasing, feet licking etc)
We offer short courses or single sessions to suit you and your dog. We also offer follow on visits, walking groups and follow on classes to aid in training your dog after completing some one to one sessions.
If you are experiencing behavioural problems such as aggression, seperation problems, fears and phobias, territorial problems etc, then you will need to deal with these issues seperately under our behaviour consultation programme. These issues will be charged under the relevant rate in addition to any obedience training that is required. Please be aware of this when booking private sessions for obedience problems such as those listed above.
Prices:
Prices are for 1 dog. Please add £15 per session for each additional dog in the household that needs training.
Normal Rate: £35 per hourly session, or save money and pay in advance for 3 sessions for just £90.
Areas Covered under the normal rate: Farnham, Farnborough, Aldershot, Ewshot, Frimley, Pirbright, Worplesdon and some of Guildford.
Extended Area Rate: £40 per session or save money and pay in advance for 3 sessions for just £105.
Areas Covered under extended area rate:Guildford (Merrow, Burpham), Wonersh, Bramley, Woking, Godalming, Bracknell and Camberley.
Extra extended area rate: £45 per session or save money and pay in advance for 3 sessions for just £120.
Areas covered under the extra extended area rate: Cranleigh, Horsley, Addlestone, West Byfleet, Hook, Fleet, Clandon, Send, Basingstoke and surrounding areas.
